This winter took me to the Lake Superior Ice Caves 2 times. The second time on March 8th. Hard to believe but there were even more peope than the first time. The Park Service estimated 15,000 at the time we were leaving a bit after 5 PM and they were still coming. Still beautiful, the ice formations had changed. Some of the ice had gone away and some grew larger. I tried not to duplicate anything from the first trip and there are at least a couple good shots here. They closed the access about ten days after this trip due to what was deemed unsafe lake ice. I wonder if we get a chance again next year.
